The ses Salines Municipality forms part of the magical rectangle in the heart of the Mediterranean, bounded by the Cabrera National Park on the horizon and by the Santanyí and Campos Municipalities. Is coastline, which is the most unspoilt in the whole of the Island of Mallorca, also has the most kilometres of fine sandy beaches with transparent waters, such as 2 es Trenc", "Ets Estanys", "Es Dolç" and "Es Carbó".

Colònia de Sant Jordi, one of the most ancient salt flats in Mallorca  which just a  short time ago was a small fishing hamlet one of most singular places in the entire Mediterraean.
