A vocation : the co-ordination. I act as an intermediary
between the clients who require a translation and the professionals who
are a priori the most suitable to achieve this translation.
Available languages I can arrange the
translation into the following languages:
Request for an estimate All you need to do is to send your request for an estimate, either by e-mail, together with your text as a file attachment (accepted formats : .doc, .rtf, .wlp or Mac), by fax ([34] 93 439 76 21) or by post (I shall let you know my address in Barcelona/Spain upon request, by phone or e-mail). For the translation of a web site you will need to let me know your URL and send the texts in HTML, Word or similar format (zipped and without graphics). This would save the translator’s time for downloading these pages, and would also eliminate his risk of forgetting the texts on-line. Then, on your request, he will return the translated text in HTML format.. According to the
requested languages, I pass your request to one or several translators,
who will contact you within 3 days (by e-mail, phone or fax) and submit
an offer.
How to choose a translator The translator’s offer will include a CV or a link to his web site. This will enable you to make a decision based on quality/speciality/price and choose the translator who matches your requirements. In case of any doubt, I would suggest you to ask for a sample translation of no more than half a page. You will receive
2 to 4 estimates from 2 to 4 different translators for languages such as
: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch.
How to contact the translator Once you have made your decision you will contact the translator directly and agree upon the conditions in detail: deadline, invoicing and payment terms, down payment, a.s.o. To avoid any administrative problem, you should send me a Carbon copy of all the e-mail messages swapped with the translator of your choice. Each job will follow the same pattern : request for an estimate, contact, agreement with the translator. The translator is under no obligation to apply the same tariff to your subsequent orders. (The tariff is subject to fluctuations in time, also depending on the nature of the requested work). If the translator meets your expectations, your subsequent orders will always be assigned to him, unless you notify me otherwise. In case of rejection,
I would appreciate your feedback message, with a copy to the translator,
who will no longer take part into the next offer.
How to contact me ? Every three months, unless you notify me otherwise, I shall send you an update regarding the available languages, the translators’ holidays or any other information which may be of intreest to you. I would suggest you to add my address to your address book and to consult this site from time to time, as it will be regularly updated. This is my telephone number : + 34 93 439 76 21 / +34 658 20 33 32 You can always contact
me on the phone or by e-mail. In case of an absence of over 8 days I shall
record a message on my answering machine (34 93 439 76 21) indicating the
name, the phone number and the e-mail address of the person temporarily
replacing me. This will be also mentioned on my web site.
Additional information Thank you for your
trust. I am always available to answer your questions.
On-line form. You will find an
on-line form which you should
fill in with your details and your comments or suggestions. It helps if
you fill in all the spaces so that we can meet your request in the best
possible way. My e-mail address is frei@tinet.fut.es
and my phone number: + 34 93 439 76 21 / +34 658 20 33 32.

All my thanks
