In Nobember this year arrives to Jatabe from France the blue bitch bred in Germany by Meike De Haney (Irminsul Kennels) "Rashiqa von der Irminsul" (pedigrí) owned by Beverly Ward (Chahcheran Kennels), she is the result of a methodic and carefully acomplished and successfull breeding plan, combining pure german lines with Mecca's Falstaff whose habilities as a producer and trasmisor of great virtues are unquestionable nowadayse.. "Pippa" will be bred in l 2010 hoping a numerous litter as usual in this bloodlines. |

"Jatabe Kattan
Kuma" (Kuma) owned by Luz Fraga Costenla and David, wins de
young male class Exc1º.at the R.S.C.E. obligatory championship
point in Badajoz organized the first of November this
year, judging the breed Ana Mesto.
We can´t be happier with "Kuma's" performance showing glamour and class with unparalel classic taste. "Kuma" stacks alone in the ring, there is no need to touch him, so we consider that as a great virtue so looked after by the the eye of the specialist judge nowadays. For the "connaisseurs" of the breed and for the classic afghan hound , everlasting and eternal look lovers this should be their choice. |

"Silmaril of Jatabe" passed away at the end of July, leaving a great void in the kennel and in our souls. She was one of the biggest imputs in the development of the line at Jatabe these last days years giving us a couple of unrepeatable litters, without losing her type, passing that so afghan attitud to her proley in an incredible way. de Broceliande at Jatabe" wins her first CAC/CACIB with a Best of
Breed in the Exposición Nacional/Internacional Canina de
Portugalete 2009 in July, judging Mr. Diogo RAMALHO from Portugal the whole group 10th. I'm so happy and delighted with her performance and
slow but progressive evolution.
Although sometimes I was doubious about this ugly duck she was as a youngster, I always kept in mind her proportions as a puppy when I selected her hoping some day she would become the swan she is today. Nevertheless I think she has more to offer and only time will show her true potential indorsed by her unique pedigree. |

In May 2009
"Cindy"-" Kharyta's Afahreen Zibah" was
imported from France, she is owned by Beverly Ward (Chahcheran Kennels)
being leased to me in order to have a litter using her incredible
and awesome pedigree and also show her in Spain. She is highly linebred in
the lines we are trying so hard to perpetuate. Cindy is bred by Luiz
Fernando K.Aoki from Kharyta's Kennels in Sao Paulo- Brazil. (pedigree).
She moves like the wind and is so afectionate and charming in temperament,
having no problems finding a place in the kennel.Thanks a lot to Bev
and Luiz.

In May 2009 "Jatabe Kattan Kuma"
"KUMA" makes also his "debut"in the Exposición Canina de Villagarcía de Arosa (Pontevedra)
in the north-west of Spain with great entusiasm from the public causing
great sensation due to his expectacular colour, as he is a masculine and
strong white male with a perfect dark pigmentation. The owner of this
beauty is Luz Fraga Constella, from

In the first part of May
2009 two individuals from the "K"litter
finishes their 6 months quarantine at last in order to allow their
entry in the U.K..
They are "Jatabe Kakur Korrikhan" (male) and "Jatabe Kalamoko Kapetan" (female). Both went to Yvonne Odell's, (Sukeshi Kennels) to allow her to continue rescuing the british blue lines which they still keep on alive after the exports Margaret Niblock (Khanabad Kennels) did in the sixties from Cynthia Madigan (Branwen Kennels). History reepeats itself once more and I'm so proud and happy for making this possible. I wish them the best of luck , I'm still missing them so much, bye bye babes!. The 21st. of june 2008 arrives our Jatabe "K" litter. A long awaited one since our last litter took place in the year 2006. We could mate "Silmaril" with our new import from Valencia, "Duque de Pavo real at Jatabe", a very nice and pleasing combination in pedigree and in phenotype. We had 3 boys and 4 girls in white, cream and blue shades, very typical colours of this bloodline. |

On January 2008 an important cornerstone
of jatabe breeding plans passed away, with great sorrow.
She was my beloved fundation bitch "Jatabe Amalur Txit Gorena" (Lur) . She went at the same day of her 12th birthday. She will be the basement of all future pedigrees at Jatabe and maybe the most important one, allowing me to restowe the nearly lost strain I'm trying to keep alive in Spain.I could learn and understand many sutile fine points of the afghan hound breed standard giving me the posssibility of becoming a breeder. Val de Broceliande at Jatabe"(Carola) arrives from France. She is
pictured here at 4 month old.She collects some Sumava's pedigrees exported
to France many year ago by Mme. Jacqueline Prudhomme plus other
