An interesting museum, featuring a large collection of bagpipes from almost all countries. There is a virtual tour in the link. Recommended. Free entrance.

Barcelona Music Museum:

About to be moved to a dedicated building at Barcelona's new Auditorium Complex, it is temporary placed at the Zona Franca. It outstands for it's collection of more than 1.500 instruments, including a pipe built by Marino Gutiérrez.

Provisionally closed to public.


J. Díaz Foundation:

Located in Urueña (near Valladolid), the Foundation houses among others, the most valuable collection of more than 600 traditional music instruments from Castilla & León. Entrance: 2 euros.

An outstanding museum which houses the Luis Delgado collection of musical instruments, en Urueña. Entrance: 3 euros.

Interesting museum of popular music, with a complete collection of musical instruments. ViIsit recommended. Entrance: 3 euros.

Luthier's house Museum:

A fantastic museum located in the former workshop of Pajot family, the famous saga of hurdy-gurdy luthiers. An essential visit for hurdy-gurdy lovers.

Tlfn: 0033 (0)470568178; Visits from 15:00 a 18:00. Open from Thursday to Sunday on July and August. In June and September it's open only on weekends


Metropolitan Museum of NewYork:

As everything in the Met, the instrument collection is absolutelly impressive. If you are a music afficionate, reserve a whole day to visist it calmly. Entrance: 15 $.
