(Batería), Stuart Sutcliffe (Guitarra, falleció en 1962 por derrame
cerebral), Paul McCartney (bajo, Liverpool, 18-6-42),

Harrison (Guitarra solista, Liverpool, 25-2-43) y John Lennon (Guitarra,
Liverpool, 9-10-40). Sutcliffe dejó
el grupo en 1961. Best fue sustituido por Ringo Starr (Liverpool, 7-7-40, Richard Starkey) en 1962. Su primer manager
fue Brian Epstein. El 1º single, Love me
do, lo grabaron en agosto de 1962. Entre 1963 y 1969 lograron 17 singles Nº 1 en el Reino
Unido. En
1966 se retiraron de los escenarios y sólo se dedicaron a grabaciones de
estudio. Se
disolvieron en abril de 1970.
