LED ZEPPELIN

Grupo formado en 1968 por Robert Plant (cantante, 20-8-48 West Bronwich, UK), Jimmy Page (guitarra, 9-1-44 Heston), John Paul Jones (John Baldwin, bajo, 3-6-46 Sidcup) y John Bonham (batería, 31-5-48 / 25-9-80). Surgen como evolución de The Yardbirds. Bonham estaba tocando con Joe Cocker. Debutan el 15 de octubre de 1968 en la Universidad de Surrey. En diciembre hacen una gira por USA con MC-5. Fueron una de las bases del heavy-metal. En 1970 les prohíben la entrada en Singapur por el tamaño de sus cabellos. Plant tuvo un accidente grave en Grecia que necesitó de cirugía plástica. En 1980 Bonham muere por sobredosis. Page y Plant sacaron discos en solitario.
