HISTORIA

Grupo de punk-rock aparecido en el CBGB de Nueva York en 1974, teloneando a Johnny Winter,  formado por los falsos hermanos Ramone: Joey Ramone (Jeffrey Hyman, 19-5-52, voz. Muere el 15 de abril de 2002 de cáncer), Dee Dee Ramone (Douglas Colvin, 18-9-52, bajo), Johnny Ramone (John Cummings, 8-10-48, guitarra) y Tommy Ramone (Tom Erdelyi, 29-1-49, batería), reemplazado más adelante por Marky Ramone (Mark Bel). Se convirtieron en referencia para muchos grupos por su manera de tocar, de vestir y por esos trallazos de 2 minutos. Muchas de sus canciones son clásicos de minimalismo pop de alta velocidad, ejemplo de subcultura urbana.
