Most of my favorite records have something in common (apart from good
songs and better musicians), I would call it a certain "atmosphere" that
sets them apart from everything else.
To capture this atmosphere is not an easy task. While I'm writing these
words "Cadillac Jack's #1 Son" by Kevin Gordon
is playing in my stereo and it sure has that atmosphere. Of course, it was
recorded by Tim Coats and produced by Garry Tallent
in Moondog Music, Nashville, TN.
