Intentional communities, in their diversity of theoretical approaches and daily practices, make up a movement which, as a whole and together with other alternative projects, are already giving vital answers to the multitude of problems and contradictions that the dominant culture produces and/or makes worse every day with its assumptions and lifestyle. In fact, intentional communities are groups of people who freely choose to actively care for Nature, and to build together a co-operative and supporting social environment, in practice and from right now, with their own living.
If the Walden Community is not the project you are looking for, maybe there is another community where you'd feel well and you'd contribute with your living to this essential movement. We include some addresses which contain community and/or eco-village directories, and other important information about the communal world.
