RASOS DE PEGUERA - 1890 m
Access. Barcelona - Granollers - direction Puigcerdà
A classic in Catalonia, their 17km make it serious. Departing from Berga, the first part is not huge, hardly ever up to 5%. But after a cross, gradient becomes tough. It sets to 8%, all through long wide straights, good asphalt, but very regular.
Rafa during winter trainings in the first half
Honestly flats only a few. Something short in the middle, but quickly turns to 8% again. No steep zones, but hard for your mind, because bends only appear in the last 6km. Well, gradient remains at 8%, but with 3km to the top, there's a short but pleasant downhill.
Pacman arriving a bit tired
Then the end is in our sights, probably the steepest. In the last kilometer, there's a final 12% section that makes us finish really exhausted.
On the top with AC Montjuic people, a friendly club
No doubt this is a top mountain in the Catalan Pyrenees. 39x23 is obviously the most recommended, but a 25 you will use if you have. Take care with weather, cold on the top. Good asphalt and a very very interesting zone.
