TIMMELSJOCH - 2483 m
Start 1. Solden
Access 1. Innsbruck - Zirl - Haiming - Oetz
Start 2. San Leonardo in Passiria
Access 2. Trento - Bolzano - Merano
From Solden is a long one, 23km approx, but the first 10km are soft. So we can consider the real one from the cross to Obergurgl.
First slopes after Obergurgl
So the real 13km climb start strongly, with 9% of average for 3km, all through a good asphalt, to become easier the fourth, at 6% approx. So not too much time, and we are in front of the pay zone for the cars. Then a quick downhill of 2km, and we face the last 6km of the climb.
Views on the long straight
A huge straight marks the start of the last part, where the average is set to 8-9%. This is a very spectacular zone. So once finished it, we get into the last U-turns that drive us to the end. This part is open and the wind may hit us strongly.
Views on the last part
This is not a tough one, and the short flats make it even shorter, so 39x23 would be enough to ride it without real problems. The other side is Italy, so frontier on the top. A lot of motorbikes in this recommended mountain.
